Fflecsi bus service
From Monday 18 May 2020, Newport Bus will operate the Fflecsi bus service to replace some scheduled services in the Rogerstone and St Julians areas.
Fflecsi services will run Monday to Saturday between 7.30am and 6.30pm and are designed to allow you to request a bus to pick you up near home, work or shops for essential travel.

Once booked, Newport Bus is able to guarantee that you will have a seat and enough space to respect social distancing guidelines.
- Replaces scheduled services 1, 1B, 11A, 11C
- Connects Rogerstone, Brynglas, Pye Green Station, High Cross and Ridgeway with the city centre
- Replaces scheduled services 26A / 26C
- Connects Old Barn Estate, St Julian’s, Barnardtown and Beechwood with the city centre
You can travel anywhere within each of the zones but you’re not able to travel between the two zones.

Community bus services
Newport's Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) operates between Bishton, Redwick, Llanwern village and Newport city centre and Spytty retail park.
Telephone (01633) 211202 between 9am and 5pm to book your seat giving your name, address, telephone number, pick up point, required pick up time, destination and the number of people travelling.
